LG partnered with Intel and KTF present the X Note Express LW20-EV laptop that has integrated EV-DO. High speed EV-DO which was first introduced to the cell phone market allows for data transmissions speeds of up to 2.4 Mbps. Other details are very sketchy but we do know that it will use a Sonoma Centrino Processor by Intel. The LW20-EV will be released worldwide but an exact date has not yet been announced.

“The LW20-EV series has a built-in EV-DO (Evolution Data Only) receiver, which is capable of the fastest wireless data transmission rates, 2.4Mbps, from KTF service. KTF is saying the service will be stable even on high-speed trains and moving vehicles, a great solution for business commuters. If needed, the LW20-EV series can also be attached to a terrestrial DMB receiver. ”
