Daeyang E&C’s has announced its latest digital audio player, the MC Square X1. Despite its strange name, this player features a 1.8-inch OLED display, 512MB of internal memory, microSD card slot, and an FM tuner. One drawback, it’s priced at a hefty $439.
Supposedly, the X1 reduces stress and anxiety through “concentration enhancement,” which of course necessitates the wearing of goofy-looking strobe light goggles (check ’em out after the break) while you enjoy an array of soothing nature sounds. Unfortunately, while it’s tricked out with the chill-out tools, the X1’s DAP capabilities are decidedly run-of-the-mill
