The Chonky Pocket PC can be used for development purposes, while ModdingCafe’s custom CPU water block is unlike any other that we’ve seen. Roman “Der8auer” Hartung teases this unique water block, which was first unveiled at Computex 2023 in Taipei, that separates it into two acrylic sections, with the first one located on the front side of the motherboard, covering the processor.
Now the second section serves as the reservoir, connecting the tubes on the back of the motherboard. What you end up with is a water block with stealth tubing that is hidden behind the motherboard. Mounting it is are more complex process, as you’ll have to first remove the motherboard’s CPU mounting latch to connect both sections. After attaching the second section, you’ll need a custom bracket screwed into the motherboard to create a base for the first section. More enhancements will be added before ModdingCafe releases the production model.
