This modular Game Boy concept by industrial designers LFD makes replacing the battery, controls, battery, and even its removable projector, a breeze. When in projector mode, simply remove the controls to use them on the big screen.
We don’t see a game cartridge slot, so it’s safe to assume that you’ll be downloading the games over WiFi. No other details were provided, but we imagine this Game Boy concept being a great entertainment device as well, since it can project movies and / or games onto any flat surface. Like most concepts, this one will most likely not make it to production, although a prototype could become a reality should there be enough interest.
