With the PS3 launch looming, we decided to compile a list of the top 5 most wanted launch titles. Around 30 games have been announced – after searching a countless number of sources we’ve shortened that list to just five. Don’t agree with our choices? 5. Tekken 6
Publisher: NamcoWhat can we say? Even though gameplay footage hasn’t been released, the Jin Kazama trailer is utterly amazing. It can’t be denied that Tekken 6 will definitely have a bunch of new features – stunning 3D graphics being one of them.
4. Devil May Cry 4
Publisher: CapcomThe high-res graphics are gorgeous and should really push the hardware boundaries. After playing Devil May Cry 3, we can’t wait to get our hands on this one.
3. Vision Gran Turismo
Publisher: SCEAIf this game is anything like the demo, you’ll now be racing against 16+ cars at once instead of the usual 12. It also offers many original courses like Monaco and Grand Canyon along with what appears to be a new snow covered track.
2. Resident Evil 5
Publisher: CapcomThis game is set to take place after Resident Evil 4 and will use the same gameplay model as its predecessor. Capcom has been hush about any other details but we do know that Jun Takeuchi of Onimusha fame will be producing this title along with several others who worked on the original RE.
1. Metal Gear Solid 4
Publisher: KonamiSolid Snake will be the main playable character in this game which takes place “X” years after “Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty”. Kojima Productions will be co-directing MGS4 with Shuyo Murata.
