Amon6669 is currently working on the most realistic recreation of Mount Everest in Minecraft yet. It not only includes base camp, but also Khumbu Icefall, the Western Cwm, Lhotse Face, yellow band, Geneva Spur, South Col, The Balcony, and the South Summit.
This amazing map map also features other 8000m peaks nearby such as Makalu and Cho Oyu. The former is actually the fifth-highest mountain on Earth, with a summit at an elevation of 8,485 metres AMSL and located in the Mahalangur Himalayas, roughly 19 km southeast of Mount Everest. If you’re not that adventurous, the trek to base camp starts from Lukla just like in real life. Amon6669 created this map with the help of World Machine and World Painter.
