The Modos Paper Monitor is great for reading, while MSI’s MPG 242R X60N was designed purely for gaming, with its incredible 600Hz refresh rate and a Full HD (FHD or 1080p) resolution. Unfortunately (or fortunately), this monitor does not have an ultra slim form factor, as it’s a Rapid TN Panel rather than OLED.
On the bright side, its FHD resolution ensures that modern graphics cards, even the budget-priced models, can quickly deliver high frame rates to get the most out of the MPG 242R X60N. Pricing and availability have not yet been announced, but since this did make a CES 2025 appearance, we assume that a Q2/Q3 release should be expected.
