NASA Earth Passing By Video ISS
NASA captured this ultra high-definition video of Earth passing by from the International Space Station (ISS). It was observed between March 2022 and March 2023 during the International Space Station’s Expeditions 67 and 68. The best way to watch this is by imagining yourself as a station crew member with an hour off duty and nothing better to do than look out the window as the world.

Typically, the ISS houses an international crew of seven people who live and work there while traveling at a speed of five miles per second. They orbit Earth about every 90 minutes. Sometimes more astronauts are onboard the station during a crew handover. Every 24 hours, the space station makes approximately 16 orbits of Earth, traveling through 16 sunrises and sunsets.
