It’s no Nissan GT-R, but this Nissan X-Trail Mountain Rescue concept is the world’s first and only. This bespoke vehicle boasts e-4ORCE technology, which will definitely come in handy at European ski slopes this winter for mountain rescue needs.
You won’t find wheels, as all four have been replaced with rugged snow tracks, giving it extreme traction on slippery pistes, while the rear seat area can now accommodate a stretcher to transport injured skiers. The electrified twin-motor e-4ORCE all-wheel drive system is capable of reacting to changing levels of grip in 1/10,000th of a second, and can adjust the distribution of power to the wheels individually, depending on the available grip.
