Unlike Amazon’s Kindle Fire, Barnes and Noble’s $250 Nook Tablet features “a 1GHz dual-core processor, 1GB of RAM (up from 512MB) and 16GB of internal flash storage (double that of the Nook Color’s 8GB and Kindle Fire’s 6GB); an included micro SD card slot can handle 32GB memory cards.” Videos after the break. The Nook Tablet is going to keep the Kindle Fire on its toes – pre-orders begin today and a release date next week on November 18. Savvy shoppers will notice that the Nook Tablet releases three days after the Kindle Fire’s November 15 street date.
