If you have an old broken Gameboy lying around why not make good use of it? Aaron Myradon decided to create the “Mouseboy”, a fully functional optical Gameboy mouse. The “A” and “B” keys act as the right/left click mouse buttons. More pics after the jump along with a short summary of how he did it (click images for full-sized versions).
First, the circuit boards/internals were removed from both Gamboy and optical mouse.
Next, he hollowed out the Gameboy’s battery pack using a rotary tool, making room for the new circuit board.
Lastly, the left/right mouse click buttons were wired up to the A/B keys on the Gameboy and than the USB cable was run through the power switch.
