It’s not official yet, but early reports claim that Post Malone has bought the world’s only Magic the Gathering ‘The One Ring’ card for a reported $2.6-million USD. A video was posted on social media by Brook Trafton who says that when he found the card, ‘the first person who came to mind was Post Malone’.
Trafton has played Magic the Gathering sine he was a child and keeping this one-of-a-kind card would be amazing, but for him, selling it for this amount is life changing. This card was only able to be found in MTG x Lord of the Rings Collector Booster boxes, so they commanded a hefty premium for at least the first week of release. Since then, boxes have stabilized between $350 – $450 depending on where you look.
