Qualcomm’s Snapdragon X Elite platform features the all-new Oryon CPU with up to 2 times faster performance versus its competitors, while matching their peak performance with one-third of the power. This platform was designed for AI applications and is capable of running generative AI models with over 13 billion parameters on-device.
Put simply, it will compete head-to-head with Apple’s M2 chip. It not only offers impressive on-device AI inferencing, but is one of the most efficient processors in a PC with up to multiple days of battery life. PCs running Snapdragon X Elite are expected to ship leading OEMs starting in mid-2024.
