Red Bull photographers captured one of the craziest stunts ever…skydiver Max Manow successfully clipping onto a plane in mid-air over the Grand Canyon. The stunt began with Manow leaping from a helicopter into the gaping chasm of Hell Hole Bend Canyon.
After expertly latching onto a nosediving plane mid-air, demonstrating unmatched precision and bravery, he soared out of the canyon using the plane’s momentum. It was mission accomplished for Manow, as he managed to perform an “endless skydive,” or a maneuver that potentially could be done continuously without him ever needing to land.

The logistics required months of preparation. Manow spent five months training, including sessions in a Stockholm wind tunnel, to master the techniques needed for mid-air connection. Meanwhile, Aikins modified his aircraft to ensure the feat was safe and repeatable,” said Henner Thies and Thomas Peeters, Red Bull Web Editors.
