Royal Caribbean’s Utopia of the Seas, the world’s second largest cruise ship, is set to embark on the first of its public getaways beginning July 19, and passengers can experience a virtual train ride dining experience while aboard. Called the Royal Railway — Utopia Station, a section of the ship is loaded with technology to offer an immersive dining experience at sea like no other.
Once in the train, diners can settle in for a five-course journey of American favorites with an upscale twist as the sights, sounds as well as flavors of the Wild West unfold all around them. Whether it be savory chipotle biscuits or tender short ribs and chocolate gold bars, there’s something on the menu to remind guests of a cross-country trek across the American Frontier, all without having to leave the ship. How much does it cost? Around $119.99 for adults and $59.99 for kids, while those with the Ultimate Dining Package still need to pay an additional $49.99 for the experience.
