In this clip from 1982, Kermit the Frog introduces Cookie Monster to sing a “song based on words that rhyme with ‘oogle’ and is performed by Old MacDoogle on the bugle.” Video after the break.
The Cookie Monster is chosen to sing the lyrics, as his ‘googly eyes’ made him ‘one of the world’s most famous Googlers,’ according to Kermit.
