Renovo Coupe

What really sets the Renovo Coupe apart from other electric cars is not its $529,000 price tag nor the 3.4-second 0-60mph time, but rather NVIDIA’s Tegra X1-powered infotainment inside the vehicle. With a 256-core Maxwell architecture GPU, the Tegra X1 gives the all-American supercar what analysts are calling “mind-blowing” performance. Tegra X1 technology powers the all-digital instrument cluster and 11.6-inch touchscreen in the center stack. Continue reading for another video and more information.

DIY Batman Batpod

In The Dark Knight, the Batpod has 20″ tires all around and is powered by a high-performance, water-cooled, single-cylinder engine – geared toward the lower end for faster acceleration and with no exhaust pipes. It’s steered by the shoulders instead of hands, and the rider’s arms are protected by shields. The Batpod ejects out of the Tumbler’s front end, with the Tumbler’s front wheels becoming the Batpod’s front and rear wheels. Here are five amazing DIY versions of the vehicle that all function to a certain extent, with the bottom (VnExpress) being the most impressive, since it’s built from scrap parts. Tung Lam used a Suzuki FX 125 ($143), two used car tires ($39), and the entire project came out costing just $480. Click here to view the first image in today’s viral picture gallery. Bugatti 12.4 Atlantique

If Bugatti decided to create a throwback hypercar, it’d probably look something like the 12.4 Atlantique Concept by Alan Guerzoni. Powered by a twin-turbocharged 650hp V12 and a 200hp KERS system, this vehicle boasts “suicide doors, fenders separated from body, a very long bonnet, a low and aerodinamic tail, bi-color livery and a chrome line that splits the full body in two symmetrical halves,” according to its designer. Lamborghini Diablo Replica

The Lamborghini Diablo was a high-performance mid-engined sports car manufactured between 1990 and 2001. It was the first Lamborghini capable of topping 200 miles per hour (320 km/h), but this orange replica won’t come anywhere near that number, performance wise. This replica can be snatched up for just $48,900 USD (€40,575). It’s based on the Pontiac Fiero platform, and is powered by a Camaro-sourced LS1 V8 engine, mated to a Porsche 911 transmission. Mike Hudson Van Dog Traveller

Previously a systems engineer Mike Hudson decided to quit his job and break everyday routines for a life filled with the unknown. After giving away most of his worldly possessions, he started converting a rundown, 10-year-old van into a mobile home he calls “Vandog”. It took approximately 5-months of hard work to turn the rundown LDV Convoy into a livable home, complete with a timber-lined interior with an extendable bed, a large hammock, small office area, lots of storage space, a sound system, refrigerator, a gas burner, sink, a shower, toilet, a pressurized water system (hot water on demand), and even solar-powered LED lighting. An LPG cylinder stores gasoline (used for power) that can be refilled cheaply at petrol stations. Continue reading for a video, more pictures and information.

Ferrari F80

Here’s yet another look at the ultra sleek F80, designed by by Adriano Raeli. Similar to the LaFerrari and Enzo, it takes many design cues its predecessors, or more specifically, the sharp nose, an aggressive and long rear. Not just a looker, Ferrari may use the LaFerrari’s V12 engine, a hybrid 900hp twin-turbo V8 engine paired with a 300hp KERS system. The designer stressed that even if it does end up using a smaller engine, that won’t equate to less power. Continue reading for more pictures and information.

Mercedes-Benz Silver Lightning

If Mercedes-Benz existed in the TRON universe, Silver Lightning would probably be one of the most popular vehicles there. In the real world, Silver Lightning was first seen in the L.A Design Challenge where it won best animation for their short film “Silver Lightning”. It will use future technologies such as MagTech and Omni-Directional Wheels. According to fftech.net “Mag-Tech uses small lightweight magnetic squares. They can be quickly put together to make a roof, or easily contracted to make a convertible.” Click here to view the first image in today’s viral picture gallery.
