Animatronic 8-Foot Tall Halo Elite Costume Might be the Coolest Ever

Ontario-based special effects artist Pete Mander has created the greatest Halo costume yet: an 8-foot-tall Elite from the ranks of the zealous alien Covenant in Halo. They’re best known to humans as Elites in the Halo universe because of their adeptness and skill in combat, the Sangheili formed the military backbone of the Covenant for almost the entirety of its existence.

Halo 5: Guardians and Super Mario Bros. 64 aren’t synonymous, but one fan decided to combine the two and recreate Princess Peach’s castle in the first-person shooter. Reddit user “Bearskopff” spent hours on the map, and believe it or not, every single brick is a single object in the map, as he said “no shortcuts taken here,” while remaining very keen to simulating the geometry found in the original game. Brick Master Spends 3-Years Building Massive Halo UNSC Infinity Ship Using 10,000 LEGO Pieces

Brick master Cody Fowler combined two of his passions, Halo 5 and LEGO, for a massive project that took approximately 3-years to complete using more than 10,000 bricks. This UNSC ship recreation not only looks the part, but blue LEDs were installed for added effect. Unlike similar builds, you won’t find any stacks on this vessel, as everything was carefully planned to have only two support beams showing.

Halo 5 is currently one of the hottest games available, so much so that gamer DeAnna Davis decided to create real-life armor modeled after the in-game suits. “My Halo 5 Kelly 087 is my 10th full suit of armor offically ( not counting projects that included armor work but wasnt a full head to toe ordeal) And the first thing i learned was mobility is most important, (which i learned the hard way since i couldnt bend my knees or sit down in my deamon hunter cosplay xD(my 1st suit ever (go big or go home). But I really took that to heart with this suit so in a little less than one whole month of non stop work i made sure everything was not only easy to move in but pretty comfortable,” said Davis. Limited to just 3,000-units worldwide, this Halo Needler Replica was modeled after its video game counterpart. This 1:1 replica of one of Halo’s most iconic weapons features LED lights, in-game sounds and over a dozen motorized crystal shards. When you squeeze the trigger, the crystal shards retract in sequence to simulate being fired. To reload, simply travel to the Sanghelios moon of Suban for extra crystals. Real-Life Halo 4 Warthog Visits McChord Air Force Base and Then This Happened

Yes, this real-life Halo 4 Warthog vehicle commissioned by 343 Industries, a subsidiary of Microsoft, and built by the Aria has been circulating on the internet for quite some time now, but it recently visited Joint Base Lewis-McChord in Tacoma, Washington and this epic video ensued. Just to recap, it’s based on the Hummer H1 chassis and stands 8-feet tall. The team spent months creating a Warthog body identical to the video version, right down to the fake rivets on the plastic reinforced fiberglass body panels and gauges in the interior with static readouts. You might have seen, or at least heard of, NECA’s – a Japanese company known for its action figures and collectibles – street-legal Master Chief motorcycle helmet, but it will soon begin to ship. That’s right, this limited edition helmet meets US Department of Transportation standards for motorcycle helmets, and sports a modular design that allows the front to pop up.
