Amazon is selling the HP SimpleSave 1.5TB USB 2.0 Desktop External Hard Drive for just $89.99 shipped, originally priced at $149.99. The “minute you plug it in to a USB port, it begins backing up your data; there’s no need to install and learn software.” Product page.

User’s will love this backup solution because the software finds all your valuable data, no matter where it is on your computer and, after the first backup, it frequently checks for file changes so your backup is always up to date.

After months of rumors, the webOS-powered HP TouchPad has been officially unveiled, and it looks to give Apple’s iPad a run for its money..at least until the iPad 2 is released. Powering this tablet is a 1.2-GHz dual-core Snapdragon processor, 16GB / 32GB of internal memory, and a 9.7-inch display. Available this summer in a Wi-Fi model — 3G and 4G versions to follow. After months of leaked spy shots, the HP Slate 500 has been officially unveiled. Priced at $799, it packs a “1.86GHz Intel Atom Z540 processor, 2GB of RAM, 64GB SSD and Broadcom’s Crystal HD accelerator for handling 1080p video,” into a 1.5-pound package. Video after the break. Surrounding the metal edges is a USB port, headphone jacks, keyboard button and that always useful Alt + Ctrl + Delete key. Interestingly the right side is also home to a slide-out Windows license — HP tells us it had be included, but they didn’t want to muck up the nice contoured back.
