Ralliart

According to Edmunds, this car’s “twin-clutch transmission clicks off upshifts measured in milliseconds, so by the end of the quarter-mile, the Ralliart is really feeling its oats with a 14.8-second run at 94.6 mph.” Video after the break.

Power delivery is surprisingly solid throughout the rev range because the torque curve is so broad and flat, delivering nearly the maximum 253 pound-feet from about 2,500 rpm all the way to 4,500 rpm.

Laser TV

According to Mitsubishi, their laser TV sets will have a price point “more comparable to plasma and LCD than DLP”. They run at “120Hz, and boast 500 nits of brightness.” Video after the break. Click here for first picture in gallery.

LaserVue will debut in 65-inch and 73-inch, with the 65-inch version hitting the scene first. Mitsubishi is still pretty coy about what exactly makes the technology tick but is quick to point out the 200 percent color gamut that LaserVue provides, more than twice that of most traditional HDTVs.

Mitsubishi officially revels its Prototype S (Sportback). It boasts a “2.0L turbo four that delivers 240 PS (236 hp) and 343 Nm (253 lb-ft) of torque through a dual-clutch setup to a full-time AWD system with an active center differential.” Click here for first picture in gallery.

Up front, you essentially have the Lancer Ralliart’s nose, which is dressed up with more ornate, concept-style headlamps and foglights. Head around to the car’s rump, and you can almost see Mitsu’s people drawing a line in the sand, daring the 5-door WRX to come over and “play.”

The Mitsubishi Lancer Prototype S is basically “a 5-door hatchback version of the Lancer that looks to be a Ralliart version of a production car that’s bound for the European market.” Click here for first picture in gallery.

While it doesn’t sound like a 5-door Lancer is being considered for the U.S. market, it wouldn’t be that surprising if Mitsubishi decided to field a direct competitor to the 5-door Subaru WRX in the States

Mitsubishi has just unveiled the Concept-RA, an “all-wheel-drive, diesel-powered sports coupe that sends 201 hp and 310 lb.-ft. of twist through Mitsubishi’s S-AWC system.” Video after the break. Click here for first picture in gallery.

MITSUBISHI Concept-RA is powered by a new, high output, high-efficiency 2.2-liter 4-cylinder DOHC 16-valve turbo diesel engine with MIVEC4. This clean diesel’s MIVEC system incorporates valve lift control with low and high-speed cam profiles actuating the intake valves
