Apple is continually improving its smartwatch lineup and the Series 11 is the latest example. This one is brand new and has all the features that made the Series 10 a daily must have. Amazon has already dropped the base aluminum model to $389 from $399, so now is the time to pick one up before the Black Friday craze kicks in.

Apple’s September event brought the usual array of new gadgets, but one device snuck up and stole the show: the Apple Watch SE 3. Priced at $249 it’s not the most flashy in the lineup—Series 11 and Ultra 3 have that honor—but it’s the one everyone’s talking about.

Apple Watch users in the US who were left high and dry by the lack of blood oxygen on their Series 9, Series 10, or Ultra 2 can finally breathe a sigh of relief. A software update rolling out today brings back this health monitoring feature, bypassing the legal mess that stripped it from newer devices.

Sahko recently showed off his latest creation at OpenSauce, a maker gathering. His first project is a custom smartwatch that was built around a flexible circuit board, complete with glowing amber LED dot-matrix displays, making it a retro-tech dream.

The Garmin epix Pro (Gen 2) Sapphire Edition 51mm smartwatch blows the Apple Watch Ultra 2 out of the water, or at least for those with active lifestyles, and you can get one for $689.99 shipped, originally $1,099.99. Battery life is where the Epix Pro first flexes its muscle. Apple’s Ultra 2 boasts 36 hours of juice, respectable for a smartwatch but a mere warm-up for Garmin’s beast. The Epix Pro 51mm stretches up to 31 days in smartwatch mode, 82 hours with GPS, or 17 hours with GPS and music streaming. Product page.

The Samsung Galaxy Watch 7 (44mm) smartwatch is the best choice for those on the Android ecosystem, and you can get one for $229.99 shipped, originally $329.99. Featuring a circular aluminum case that feels both premium and lightweight at 33.8 grams. Its 1.5-inch Super AMOLED screen, shielded by sapphire crystal, blasts out vivid colors and a crisp 480×480 resolution, cranking up to 2,000 nits so you can check your stats even in blazing sunlight. The Apple Watch SE 2 is still the perfect smartwatch for most in the iOS ecosystem, and you can get one for $169 shipped, originally $249. What might surprise you is that this model features Apple’s S8 SiP advanced dual-core processor, the same processor that is in Apple Watch Series 8 and Apple Watch Ultra. Product page.
