The Tax Free Weekend 2010 event starts today, and according to government officials, “shoppers will not pay tax on most clothing and shoes under $100 per item, school supplies, and computers under $750.” Click here to view the included items for your state.
At Best Buy on the Eastern Shore, customers in the electronics store said even a 10 percent discount added up on larger purchases. “It’s a good discount on computers,” shopper Nelson Frerichs said. “We bought three (laptops), as well as some other things.”
