It’s powered by a 998cc CP4 crossplane engine that produces 165 horsepower and 75 lb-ft of torque, paired with a three-stage traction control system, slipper clutch and three riding modes, using Yamaha’s “D-Mode” throttle mapping feature. The YZF-R1-derived race-developed suspension has been tuned to make it even easier to live with on the street, complete with 320mm dual front discs, 4-pot calipers as well as ABS for instant stopping power.
