Toshiba has just announced the X30 HDD MP3 Player which features a larger screen and a 2.4 in. Display when compared with past models. The X30 will start shipping in Japan on September 22.
Toshiba was still able to reduce the size of the X30 (59.3 mm× height 14.5 mm× depth 99.3mm) compared to the Gigabeat F-Series players. Toshiba is supporting Windows Media DRM 10 in this new Gigabeat. The company apparently also made some improvements to the photo viewer software. The X30 has a 30GB hard-drive and comes in three colors.
