Funcom’s Unreal Engine 5.2-powered Dune Awakening gets its first trailer a year after it was announced. This title combines the grit and creativity of survival games with the social interactivity of a large, persistent multiplayer game.
What you end up with is a unique and ambitious open-world survival MMO that can be compared more to a sandbox than a theme park. The trailer gives us a glimpse of colossal sandworms and soaring ornithopters on Arrakis. Dune Awakening is set to be released on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S, but has no confirmed release date yet.
