World's Smallest Xbox Console Wood Case
Gamer Jacob R spent nearly $600 on what might be the world’s smallest Xbox console, and that is due to its custom wooden case. When compared to the actual Xbox console, this one is a good 30% – 40% smaller, but look inside, and you’ll find real hardware, but with the DVD2Xbox mod. The latter allows an Xbox to dump any DVD / CD to its own hard drive including games.

Fortunately, everything appeared to work, aside from the fan in the back, which could prove to be a fire hazard if the console is used long enough. There are two functional controller ports up front and an LED power button. The original Xbox was officially released on November 15, 2001 in North America and Microsoft’s first foray into the gaming console market. Hardware wise, it packed a 733MHz 32-bit Intel Pentium III CPU and a 233MHz NVIDIA GeForce 3-based NV2A GPU with 64MB of memory.
