Just like the HALO Space Capsule, France-based Zephalto also plans to offer $130,347 USD luxury balloon rides to the edge of space, complete with Michelin-star meals. The balloon, called ‘Celeste’, can comfortably accommodate up to six passengers and two pilots for the 6-hour journey up to the stratosphere at 80,000-feet.
So far, Zephalto has sold out of all 2024 voyages and are now accepting pre-reservations for 2025 at $10,864 per person. The helium-filled, high-altitude balloon will cruise for 3-hours before hitting maximum altitude in just 90-minutes. As the sky turns dark due to the low scattering of light at higher altitude, the Michelin-star meal begins.
