$4200 HAL Robotic Exoskeleton Going Into Production

Making its debut in 2007, the HAL Robotic Exoskeleton was ahead of its time, but now the device is officially going into production. Aside from its 4-hour battery life, HAL's "ability to grant its wearer tenfold strength increases during specific actions could change the lives of people." Video after the break.

I'm sure there are a lot of people out there who would gladly use a HAL suit to better their quality of life. And those people -- those people are the enemy.

$4200? That's very reasonable pricing, considering electric wheelchairs can easily cost more than that. I had been under the impression that these units would cost around $10 grand. But now I have a dilemma, save for a car or buy a mech-suit?
