When it comes to pouring beer, nothing beats Asahi's "Refrigerator Robot". At the push of a button, this robot will than open a can and pour you a perfect mug of beer every time. It also keeps a six-pack and two mugs chilled for anytime enjoyment. One of our readers just sent in a video of this bot in action. Watch after the jump.

Neat but you still have to place the glass. Should be fully automated.

Asahi Refrigerator Robot serves Beer
The Asahi Refrigerator Robot has to be the perfect summer gadget. This little guy holds in a six pack and 2 mugs all chilled and at the push of a button it opens up the can and pours you...

Wow, talk about bad pour. Not only does it overflow the glass but that's way too much head.

I dont know about you but i dont like it when it takes 4 minutes to pour my beer. It takes more effort than to do it yourself, and this annoying little thing barks at you the whole time. Worthless piece of plastic in my eyes.

Fefe of Gunnage
No kidding. I would've downed probably two beers by the time it was done. Even at 15 I poured a better beer. Terribly slow and sloppy. Just plain not good.

Solutions to problems that plague us on a daily basis… « On Tap
[...] March 6th, 2007 at 8:58 am (On the Online, tricks, general) Modern technology can be wonderful. But does it really solve all of our problems? In my perusal of Google Video I came across this video of the Asahi beer-pouring robot. A grand idea if you’re going to hit start, take a shower, cook dinner, watch your favorite program, then come back for your beer. Not so grand if you’re in a rush. In contrast is this contraption. Reminiscent of Wile E. Coyote, this thoughtfully crafted device takes just minutes to pour your beer. Once you take the 4 man hours to set it up, this baby works like a charm… if you don’t mind it’s presence in your kitchen… and dining room, and probably part of your living room. [...]
