Best of "Appliance Transformers"

SomethingAwful recently held a Photoshop contest in which members were asked to turn normal appliances into transformer robots. Our editors have selected the best of for your enjoyment. View all pics after the jump.
In the 1980s America was overwhelmed with the awesomeness of Transformers, machines that would change from clunky looking robots to ordinary vehicles. Transformers inspired a lot of knockoffs and raked in a lot of money, but since then they have mostly faded into obscurity and vintage 80s shirts.

i don't know, i thought some of those looked pretty lame, mainly the nintendo ds one and the black cd player. The other ones I like though because it looked like they actually could have transformed, not like someone just took the picture and added dumb looking arms and legs.
