Aqualia Water-Powered Car

Turning wastewater into sustainable fuel is quite the task, but the production and consumption of this new biofuel, created through the partnership between Aqualia and SEAT, reduces CO2 emissions by 80% compared to petrol powered vehicles. More specifically, wastewater is separated from sludge in treatment plants to create biomethane, which then becomes gas after a fermentation treatment.
