G4 gives us an up-close look at SEGA's Yu Suzuki, creator of such classics as Afterburner, Out Run, and Virtua Fighter. Videos after the jump.
One of Suzuki's most notable arcade games was Ferrari F355 Challenge, a racing simulator created upon a strong partnership with Ferrari. The game itself drew attention not only from the gaming industry overall, but also from the automobile industry. Rubens Barrichello of the F1 Team Ferrari was quoted by Suzuki to "have considered to purchase one for practicing." In 2003, Suzuki became the sixth person to be inducted into the Academy of Interactive Arts and Sciences' Hall of Fame

yu suzuki undoubtedly created an era of 3d games and harbor realistic - simulation of games that is still existing on this very day...., not to mention, virtua fighter series, the king of 3d fighting games and the only one that truly represents martial arts in its true modest form, and includes a deepest fighting engine that was ever introduced on any fighting game, not to mention it is the first fighting game, and every expansion delivers unique ideas and freshness to the game, despite that he is no longer working behind VF 5, I'm still looking forward to it. I cant wait to use my Akira he he he he he. And Shenmue series, Ryo hazuki and Shenhua's adventure and the only RPG that renders a real world to play and be part of an epic story and journey. too bad, the third installment still hangs on the balance, I would really like to see this story concluded on any next generation flatforms.
