Ear Wax Camera/Cleaner

Put simply, this is one of the strangest gadgets we've come across. This device sports a camera/light at one end and a viewer at the other end -- allowing users to see built-up ear wax. It's powered by a single 9V battery and is made from anti-bacterial ASB resin/glass/stainless steel. Available now from Rakuten at the price of $87.
Though it’s not really a common topic of dinner conversation in the States — “Who’s been cleaning your ears at Yale, Son?” — the Japanese have a certain fondness for the act of ear cleaning.

Technically this is an ear wax 'pic' in the sense of how it cleans. It's not commonly known but Asian ear wax is a dried up, greyish material that flakes. This of course is in respect to to the rest of the world, whose people's ears have an almost gooey ear wax, which is yellow in colour and is swabbed up. This device is is for Asian's only! As is clear from the the device's cleaning tip! a pic!

I am not quite sure about that whole "grey ear wax" tidbit -- especially since I live in Japan and have yet to see someone pull out a hunk of grey wax (though I HAVE seen yellow). Oh, one thing though, a lot of dirty old Japanese men like to grow out their pinky finger nails and use those to clean out their ears!
