A group of Japanese modders decided to make their own custom USB-powered BBQ using lots of USB cable, six PCI USB Adapter cards, and countless hours of hacking. Plus, the computer is fully functional. Short video demonstration after the jump. Lots of pictures here.

By far one of the most useless and biggest wastes of an idea ever. Not to mention disgusting.
Congrats.

I find it fascinating how many things users come up with. Now I won't find it strange when Windows prompts: there is a fridge connected to the USB. Instal?

USB BBQ
So this whole “everything can be USB” thing is just getting crazy. It started with useless battery-sucking USB lights. Now you got USB coffee warmers, beverage coolers… I have even seen a USB disco light!

That is very very cool. It would take a long while to cook a full meal.
