Located in Greenland, the gigantic Petermann Glacier essentially “connects the Greenland ice sheet to the Arctic Ocean near 81 degrees north latitude.” In August, 2010, a 100-mile chunk calved off the glacier. Video after the jump. Click here for more pictures.
