A 19-year-old teen from Indiana has revealed R5800, a solar death ray that is comprised of 5800 mirrors. That's not the scary part, as "he's currently building an even larger one with 32,000 mirrors." Video after the break.
As you can see in the video below, he only had to wheel the 5' 9" dish out, align it so it catches a bit of sun, and then whatever met its "heat spot" (which measured just a centimeter or two in size) instantly caught fire.[via Gizmodo]
