Clarkson's a jackass. He's so anti-American that all he spews is twisted lies and ignorance. He ruins a good idea everytime he opens his yaw. 90% of the European cars he drools about would be blown off the road by the first Semi that passed, and the rest would likely break down every 500 miles. The only great British vehicle made in the last 30 years is the double-decker bus. And the silly twits keep replacing them with "Bendy Buses!" Jealousy is an ugly emotion.

imajoebob u have no idea what cars are build in europe(europe isn't British)! my european car never broke down for the last 80000 miles. I think u don't know europe at all ! It's great over here :-)

Clarkson is an Anti-American and does spew false missleading information on cars daily. Everything from testing a V6 Economy Mustang and claiming it was a slower then a horse, while trying to play it off like it was the Mustang GT V8 version. It was funny to see him get so scared over some southerners in a hick town. As an automotive engineer, I can say that 50% of the information he passes by as fact is a lie. He likes to compare ultra-rare exoctic cars to stock, American economy cars. How many performance cars actually come out of Britian? Take a look at the "average" British car. What a JOke!

I was looking forward to seeing the comments of this episode... Clarkson et al. are not anti-American, they are anti-moron. It's their style of humour, you shouldn't take it too seriously. Believe me, they are equally harsh about European and British cars and morons. Some people claim they are single-handedly (triple-handedly, as there are three of them?) responsible for global warming because they drive cool, fast, polluting cars on tv, enjoy it and are unapologetic about it. Some claim Clarkson was partly responsible for some Vauxhall/Opel plant closures int he UK because he hated their new boring models. The fact is, he is not trying to be objective, he is trying to be pointy and entertaining. Yes, he is a moron himself and wrong about some if not most things he says. His spiel is to be annoying, that's what he does. The things these guys do are stupid, and that's pretty much the point. They are playing with stereotypes and nothing pleases them more than to see some of these stereotypes "proven to be true" by people like the stone-hurling rednecks in this film. If you are feeling insulted or annoyed by what they are doing, you are most probably taking them too seriously. Relax, have a laugh, and wait for the next episode because it's going to be someone else's turn to take the heat.

i agree jeremy has a big mouth, if it makes you feel any better,he badmouths most european things too :p and i would like so to see all the footage they have , they should make a behind the scene ( hear that bbc ? ! :p )

as i understand it "clarkson" drives an american car, a ford gt (based of the english designed gt40) which would suggest that he is not totaly anti american. also imajoebob the european car industry produces some of the most reliable and impressive cars in the world and has for the past 100 years, it seems quite hypocritical of you to accuse people of ignorance.

@ imajoebob "Jealousy is an ugly emotion." Indeed it is... Is your job to review thousands of the worlds best sports cars? infact how many cars have you driven? and how many of those were rated the worlds top sports cars? (and I don't mean World as in World series baseball). America was once a great great country! now it just belives it is with unquestioning loyalty! I hope one day you will judge things without the star spangled banner covering your eyes and we can all live in peace, judging things by their merits and not their spin! Until then.... You guys suck ! :)
