(Video) Monkey Controls Robotic Arm with Mind

That's right, scientists at the University of Pittsburgh are conducting tests, in which they use monkeys to control robotic arms. Video after the jump. Here's Jason Chen's take:
If these test work—which they look like they do, the monkeys are feeding themselves successfully—you too can lop off your own arm, stroll into the emergency room, and feel confident that they'll replace your missing appendage with the robotic equivalent

Amazing, I have always wanted to be a robot, immortal and stuff... but then I would have to transfer all my neurological data into a robot brain... that'll be difficult (if even possible), or maybe get life support only for my head and stick it on top of a robot.

Is it me or is the robot arm when shown next to the monkey CGI? It looks a lot smaller than the one the guy is operating at the start.. oh ok, i just watched it again and it says 'reenactment' at the bottom, so it is CGI...
