(Video) TrackIR Demonstration

One of our readers just sent in a new video of the TrackIR device in-action, which is basically a new form of input that tells your game exactly where your head is -- in 3D space.

Well it's very nice. But when you want to turn right, left, up or down, your head is not actually facing the screen anymore which means you must look at the screen from the corners of your eyes. Cool technology none the less.

Well... is not a new tech, and who says Marat you are not facing the screen, you will need to use a VR Helmet, like the VR HMD Pro, and hen you go! crazy VR...

they need to combine this with screens you can wear (and not the ones already out with like 320x240 resolution and costs a fortune) the tech is here for VR... but the price kills demand

am sure there would be some calabration settng so you don't have to turn your head much. A must for a pc gamers playing on an PS or Xbox.

jbuck: if you had screens all around you, you wouldn't need this gadget, you'd just look the way you wanted. wat bugs me is that i didn't get to see it in action. "armed assault" but i haven't seen armed nor any assaults.
