You could either swim, ride a jet ski, body board, or surf with the Lampuga, the “world’s fastest electric surfboard.” Similar to other models, ituses an electric drive that shoots water-spewing thrust out at the board’s tail. Its 15-horsepower drive uses a brushless synchronous motor powered by a 52-volt lithium-ion battery that provides 20-35 minutes of continuous run time and up to 12 miles (20 km) of range – can be recharged in 1-hour with the 60-amp charging station. The board’s lightweight carbon fiber/composite construction helps it achieve a top speed of 32mph on water. Instead of bindings, Lampuga relies on a basic anti-slip mat, while two grab handles provide grip and steering for electric knee-boarding.
