At first glance, the 2024 BAC Mono appears to be a track-only, F1-inspired vehicle of some sort, but it’s actually a single-seat, street-legal supercar. It made its debut during Monterey Car Week 2023, powered by a naturally-aspirated 2.5L four-cylinder engine making 311 hp and 321 lb-ft of torque, mated to a 6-speed sequential gearbox, enabling it to hit 60 mph in just 2.7 seconds.
That might not sound like much power for a supercar, but keep in mind that the 2024 BAC Mono weighs in at just 1,257-pounds, with an optimal weight distribution of 41% front and 59% rear. The body itself is composed of graphene-infused carbon panels, which helps the Mono’s adjustable pushrod activated twin wishbone suspension system with needle roller-bearing mounting bell cranks work its magic on the road. Available now, priced from around $200,000 USD.

Launching the new Mono supercar at Monterey Car Week perfectly encapsulates the brilliant trajectory of BAC. Not only is this the first time the company has been in an official capacity at Monterey Car Week, but we have chosen this iconic setting to show to the world our latest high-performance single-seater creation; a development that forms the basis of BAC’s core product offering as it continues to expand around the world,” said Mike Flewitt, BAC chairman, at the ‘House of BAC’ in Carmel.
