1995 Lotec C1000 Supercar For Sale
H/t: Car Scoops
After Miami-based Curated, a vintage supercar specialist, put the world’s first and only 1995 Lotec C1000 with just 2,576-miles on the odometer up for sale earlier this week, it was quickly snatched up for an undisclosed amount. This vehicle was commissioned by an oil baron from the United Arab Emirates in 1990 and completed in 1995, at a total cost of approximately $3.4-million ($6.7-million in 2023).

Weighing just 2,381 pounds, thanks to a carbon fiber chassis, it’s powered by a Mercedes-Benz-sourced twin-turbocharged 5.6L V8 engine making 1,000 hp and 723 lb-ft of torque, mated to a Hewland 5-speed racing gearbox, enabling the C1000 to hit 62 mph in just 3.2-seconds, while topping out at 260+ mph. Aesthetically, the aviation-inspired vehicle is heavily raked wit sharp lines and a strange headlamp layout. The Le Mans-like interior includes an Alacantara-wrapped steering wheel, basic gauges, and a gear shifter located between the door / driver’s seat.
