This ultra rare 3DFX Voodoo 5 6000 Rev 3700A 128MB prototype graphics card is no RTX 4090, but it most certainly will cost you much more than the latter. It was personally reworked by 3DFX engineer Hank Semenec for fully stable 8X Full-Screen Anti-Aliasing (FSAA) with four GPUs.
Unlike other Voodoo 5 6000 prototypes, this one comes from the later stages of the 6K prototype project where the vast majority of bugs have been fixed. This graphics card is so valuable because it was never released to the public. It’s essentially a single-slot graphics card based on 3DFX’s VSA-100 die, or four to be exact. Each VSA-100, manufactured by TSMC on their 250nm process node, measures 112mm² and houses up to 14 million transistors. Check it out here.
