Rotating Skyscraper Dubai

Here’s another look at David Fisher’s enormous, rotating building with floors that move ever so slightly, completing a 360° rotation every 90-minutes. Dynamic Architecture’s design would have all four cardinal directions covered, and comes equipped with several giant wind turbines that generate electricity for tenants. Penthouse residents would be able to park their car directly inside their apartments thanks to some high-tech lifts. The architect says that the building will generate 10-times more energy than required to power it, thus making it a positive energy building. In addition to the solar panels fitted on the roof to harness sunlight, a total of 48 wind turbines will be installed between the rotating floors, with each turbine producing up to 0.3 megawatt of electricity.
