Artist and craftsman Sergey Bobkov from the Balakhta district in Russia specializes in using the shavings left over from wood carving to create these mind-blowing detailed sculptures. He purportedly utilizes their “curling forms, colors and shine to create organic forms like feathers and fur.” A large bird or animal takes between 4 to 6 months of work (14 to 18 hours a day) to complete.
