RIM’s BlackBerry may not be as popular as it once was, due to the iPhone and countless number of Android smartphones, but if the company were to ever release a new handset, we can only hope it looks like “Empathy”.
Put simply, this futuristic handset looks transparent, but when activated, turns opaque. That’s not all, there’s also built-in conductive wireless charging. It’s safe to say that this device is ahead of its time, but we wouldn’t be surprised to see the Apple iPhone borrow some (or all) of these features in the near future. Speaking of wireless charging, it would make sense for tablets and / or laptops to adopt this technology as well.
