Photographer Nick Olson and designer Lilah Horwitz have built their own cabin in the woods from discarded windows, and it’s located in the mountains of West Virginia. This charming home away from home features a unique facade made of windows of varying sizes, combining both rustic and modern looks. Most of the building materials were salvaged from a nearby abandoned barn, allowing them to construct the incredible glass cabin on a budget of $500. To make this dream a reality, the couple lived off of beans and rice for several months, while dedicating their time and energy to constructing their one-of-a-kind home. According to Olson:

We were able to make it a reality because we are first artists and creators. We had to be resourceful to do it cheaply.
