Universal Studios Hollywood is getting Super Nintendo World next year, and before it opens, Gameloft’s Disney Speedstorm will give Mario Kart Tour some major competition. This new cross-playable arcade racing experience re-imagines iconic Disney and Pixar characters like Captain Jack Sparrow, Mulan, Mickey Mouse, Sulley, as well as Beast.
Just like other arcade racing games, players will be able to upgrade each racer’s stats to fully utilize their unique skills, which can greatly impact the outcome of a single race and dramatically change the way opponents see you. Some of the track environments include Disney’s Pirates of the Caribbean, The Jungle Book, and even the Great Wall of China seen in Mulan. Race solo or challenge friends in local and remote multiplayer modes, while new content is set to be added regularly including new tracks. Disney Speedstorm will launch on the PlayStation 5 | 4, Xbox Series X | S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC via Steam platforms on a date that has not yet been revealed.
