Hacksmith Autonomous Battlebot Build
Ever watched a BattleBot competition? If so, you’ll need that the robots are remote-controlled armed and armored machines designed to fight in an arena combat elimination tournament. Hacksmith Industries attempts to build an autonomous BattleBot and is somewhat successful.

This autonomous BattleBot uses a combination of AI, custom software, and lots of electronics. Putting the chassis together was the first and most important step, while the motors took a bit longer to arrive. During that time, the software was refined to ensure the ‘Orbit’ and ‘Kill’ modes work as intended. Last, but not least, they had to install a weapon, which turned out to be longer than the robot itself. The end result was a BattleBot that obliterated an ‘unbreakable’ box.
