CycloTech CruiseUp Flying Car CycloRotors
There’s the Phractyl, and then CycloTech’s CruiseUp, which is being touted as the world’s first flying car with CycloRotors. This new 360° thrust vectoring propulsion system allows for a more compact design, resulting in a small vehicle footprint and highest maneuverability.

Unlike standard rotors and propellers, the moving parts of the CycloRotors are safely encapsulated, shielded from the passenger cabin. A 6 CycloRotor configuration offers a high level of redundancy, enabling CruiseUp to fly and land safely, even in the event of a rotor failure. Two on the length axis of the vehicle allows for precise sideways and backwards flight as well as mid-air braking, all without the need to tilt or bank the vehicle. CruiseUp reportedly has a top speed of 150km/h (93.2mph) and a range of 100 km (62 mi), making it ideal for dense cities like Los Angeles or New York City.

With the dimensions of 6.7m x 3.3m CruiseUp is just 50% bigger than current cars and way smaller than most of the air taxi concepts and thus fits into our domestic environment,” said Andrea Marchsteiner, CycloTech CruiseUp Project Manager.
